It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the National Conference on Health Professions Education (NCHPE 2026), hosted by M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Interprofessional Collaboration in Health Care Education,” reflects the growing need for collaborative learning and integrated healthcare practice. NCHPE 2026 aims to bring together educators, researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to exchange ideas, share innovations, and advance educational excellence.
Over three enriching days, participants will engage in keynote lectures, panel discussions, workshops, scientific presentations, and networking opportunities designed to inspire innovation and strengthen academic collaborations.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to welcome you to NCHPE 2026, hosted by M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. Health professions education is at an exciting juncture, where the boundaries between disciplines are increasingly giving way to collaboration, shared learning, and collective responsibility. The theme of this year’s conference, “Interprofessional Collaboration in Health Care Education,” therefore resonates deeply with the changing needs of healthcare and education. \NCHPE 2026 provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, question established practices, and envision new possibilities for preparing healthcare professionals who can work effectively across disciplines. I hope the conversations and interactions during these three days will go beyond the conference halls, fostering meaningful partnerships and ideas that translate into practice. I am particularly pleased that this conference brings together diverse voices from across the health professions.
